Adapt. Inspire. Shape the Future.
The spirit of innovation was alive at The Knox School, Wantirna South, VIC, as edMinds proudly participated in the Victorian It Takes a Spark! STEM Conference 2025 held on Thursday, 23 October 2025. The event brought together educators, students, and technology leaders from across the state, celebrating creativity and collaboration in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
As part of the conference, edMinds conducted an engaging hands-on workshop titled “Build & Code Robots in Under 40 Minutes!”, featuring the AIKIRO Robotics Series. The session gave participants — especially young learners — an exciting opportunity to dive into the world of robotics through guided, interactive learning experiences.
Children enthusiastically built real robots using the AIKIRO kits and explored the fundamentals of coding through visual, block-based programming. Within just minutes, their creations came to life — moving, responding, and sparking pure excitement! The workshop beautifully demonstrated how robotics connects Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, transforming abstract concepts into tangible, fun, and meaningful learning.
Parents, educators, and conference attendees praised edMinds for its commitment to early STEM education, emphasizing how such activities help nurture critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving from a young age. By combining play with purpose, edMinds continues to show that learning can be both joyful and transformative.
The It Takes a Spark! STEM Conference perfectly aligned with our mission — to empower students and teachers to adapt, inspire, and shape the future through innovation-driven education. It also served as a platform to connect with like-minded educators passionate about integrating robotics and coding into everyday learning.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the organizers of the Spark EduConferences for hosting such an impactful event and for providing edMinds the opportunity to showcase the power of hands-on STEM learning.
At edMinds, we believe every child deserves the chance to explore, create, and innovate. Events like these reaffirm our dedication to building the next generation of thinkers, makers, and leaders — one robot at a time.
